What's the difference between the Lexus IS 250 and Lexus IS 350 other than the engine size?

Both of these are 2009 model cars. What's the difference? instead of a 2.5 and 3.5 liter engine?

  1. The price and horsepower.
  2. 100 hp, front brake calipers, pads and rotors.
  3. Not much anymore. The 350 used to be the only IS that came with VDIM (basically a super duper vehicle stability control system), but not anymore. The 250 you can get in a RWD manual or AWD automatic too. However, everything you can get in a 350, you can get in a 250.
  4. I don't think any of the IS350 have an AWD option, only the IS250. Also, the is350 doesn't come in a manual transmission option either. Those are the only two I can really think of. Just go to Lexus.com for more information.
