need for speed carbon:why can't i use the cars i have modified in the actual races?

i can modify my car in need for speed carbon but why can't i use it for the racing to move ahead in the game? when i race i win cars. why cant i use them in my career the cars that i have won???

1. Some cars are probably forbidden (not available) because some races require a certain vehicle. Lot of racing games have that, where you go find races to run and you can only use "this car" and so forth. Just look for a race that says your car is eligible for that race. Good luck =P
2. If I'm correct, if you modifed these cars in a section called "My Cars" than you can only race them in quick race mode. And when it says for example, unless you get the Pink Slip from a boss, "Unlocked Dodge Charger SRT8" you unlocked it in a Car Lot, not in your garage. If this doesn't solve your ques... than it may be the glitches acting up again. You see... NFS Carbon, to me, is known for having so many bugs and glitches.
