- take the pass plus that will save you a few quid and shop about and hope your not in a high car crime area
- classic insurance is cheaper my bike is on classic insurance and cost me 37 pounds a year, but i never use the bike for work just pleasure and shows. regards x kitti x
- Can you do Pass Plus? That almost halves insurance.
- yes get a low engined car maybe 1.0 or 1.1 and try not to get a really flash one an old mini or fiesta are really cheap as chips to insure or maybe get a scooter??
- when you are 25 years old and accident free
- If you buy a small car with a small engine like 1,0, 1,1 etc that will give you cheaper insurance and road tax. My brother went with an insurance company for new drivers will try and find out who it was. He went with Insurance Connections.

- i remember when i got my first car.. my dad did most of the work for me but the advice that i would give would be- 1. look around and compare quotes 2. Look for deals. A lot of companies have cheap insurance if your parents are already insured with that company. 3. do your research, as these car insurance companies love making money off first timers. 4. Be smart. If it sounds too good to be true.. Then it probably is.And don;t sign a contract or anything that you do nt understand.. look it over good luck

- Carry the mininum amount needed to pay for others people car you ramm into. IF Accident is your fault! Don't just pick up the states minimum requirements. You can be sued for liability. Do carry medical for yourself, if you have no medical insurance. www.google.com look under auto insurance quotes.
- Well where im from, classic car insurance is more expensive because its a classic. Well if you live in texas try this link or look if theres one in your area. Its very cheap. http://www.txfb-ins.com/ . They have alot of programs for underage, even if you get the basic insurance from them its like having full coverage, no other insurance offers car rental in case of accident with just basic insurance. Its the best ive seen in ages
- !7, not passed your test, and want cheap insurance? I've an alternative question you might as well ask: how do you fly to heaven on your own wings? Insurance companies are not staffed by idiots, nor are they charities. They charge more for the higher risks, including young and inexperienced drivers. A classic car might be cheaper to insure, based on very low mileage (rallies etc.) and a very careful, proud owner - but would your mileage be low, and how careful will they think you're going to be? Also, the cost and upkeep of a viable classic car might outweigh any insurance savings. You can keep the cost down to some extent by accepting a higher excess (i.e. you pay the first so-much of any damage yourself) but there's a limit to what you can do this way. There are specialist insurers who will offer insurance to high-risk drivers: as a responsible young person with a clean licence it's just possible you might get better terms from one of these, but I doubt it. Things have changed since I was first on the road, unfortunately. Good luck, anyway.
- Classic car insurance policies are a) usually offered to people of 25 or over (exceptionally 21) b) only apply to classic vehicles c) usually limit mileage to 3000 or 5000 per annum - and you must have another car for daily use - so forget it! The cheapest (I won't say best) deals are found on the internet - and have a look at Norwich Union pay as you drive scheme. Buy a cheap, old, low group vehicle (look in Parker's guide), pass your test and take the Pass Plus course. Whatever you do it will be expensive.
