I am trying to buy remote car starter online for honda civic, 2000. ?

I look up online for remote car starter, but they dont say its good for all cars, because buying online is cheaper than buy in the stores. can anyone help me out here please.

  1. It seems that the 2000 civic doesn't require an immobilizer bypass module. This means that you should be able to use any starter. I have had great success with cheap starter units. You can find a wiring colour guide at www.bulldogsecurity.com. This will be a fairly difficult installation, good luck!
  2. check with your honda dealer about your key first.see if you have a imobilizer key,if you do you will need to buy a bypass unit for remote starter. if your not going to install this yourself i dont recommend buying one until you find someone that will install it for you most shops wont install customer bought remote starters check first !!
  3. check at millonbuy.com for car starter thoes will fit in your car
