Do liberals and conservatives buy hybrid cars for the same reason?

My guess is no.

2. i buy it cause it saves on gas, thats supplied by enemy Opec nations, and i can take that saved money to pay off my car loan, and invest in CD's and stocks and gold, etc...

17. I'm a Constitutionalist (ultra-conservative) and I believe in taking care of the Planet we were given. I'm all for people doing the "right thing' rather than what's good for the wallet. Hybriding is good; but going completely green and having super-efficient Solar/Hydrogen vehicles would be better. Unfortunately, we have a long way to go to get us off of Fossile Fuels.
