How to sell a car to a private party?

I am looking to sell my car, a 2003 PT Cruiser with 95,000 miles that needs a new transmission. What exactly do I have to do to sell this in Ohio? Can someone please give me detailed instructions?

1. Um? What? Just slap a for sale sign on the car, put an ad in the paper craigslist.
2. Just sell it -- if you can find a buyer who wants in the condition it's in. Or if you think you could get your money back with a higher sales price, fix the transmission and then sell.
