I want to know a little bit about buying a car, I am a high school student, I live in Topeka, KS which is a small capital city, I don't think there are some good transportation other than cars, just want a car to drive around town, i probably will buy one next year, and don't really have much $ to pay for a car. probably 5k for is a lot, and also don't want to pay much for gas (I want a car AT LEAST City 25mpg), and I want a 4 door sedan, also I hope i can get a undamaged car, and, if possible (not really possible), I want a hybrid, they are gas savers. like toyota '01-'03 prius (the old design one), '03 civic hybrid, they are all good cars. but in kansas, the used cars are not very good. Last year my family got a '99 camry for $8k, and runs only 20mpg in city. about $15 per 100mi. Also, I went to autotrader.com, cars.com, the cars there are all expensive, but in eBay, some cars like Lexus RX400h hybrid is only starts with a penny, or a dollar, or couple hundreds of $, and only some old cars like '01 prius with $2000+ is a little bit realistic. I got confused. Can i really trust them? do they have tricks to sqeeze more money? And how much money do I need to pay if I bought a car in a further state? I don't know. Please tell me how it is. Also, I hope someone can give me a list of some fuel efficient cars.I just want a 4 door car with nice MPG, also in a fine condition, better be not crashed before. I got some cars I like for my list: civic, civic hybrid, corolla, chevy prizm, Insight(if it has a 4door version, I will definitely take it), prius, hybrids other than GM's (I won't take their hybrids unless they have 31+ city MPG, like Malibu & Camry hybrids, Malibu runs 25/33, Camry runs 33/34!) Thank you very much you guys!!!!!!!
