  1. Try: http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/ I havn't used them but loads of people have got good quotes through them. My mate got his Cerbera covered for £475 without any restrictions. Hope this helps
  2. It depends what your definition of a classic car is to that of an Insurer. If it is a 'real' classic & not just a 10 year old Volvo or Imprezza then companies like Footman James, Lancaster & AON are all very reputable companies that offer cheap premiums & more importantly, excellent service in the event of a claim. If you are a member of an owners club this can drop the premiums slightly as insurers view you as a genuine enthusiast that is more likely to take care when driving your vehicle. Indeed, it is worth checking with your relevant owners club to see if they have an arranged discount scheme with an Insurer, many do. Other factors to consider that can affect your premiums are annual milage ( Most specialist companies offerdiscounts for 'limited mileage' policies ) & if your policy offers a 'Buy back' clause - Most insurers will write off a classic car for the smallest amount of damage because they can't get prices for new parts & panels (Normally because they don't exist from the manufacturers anymore), so if you are unfortunate to have a bump in your classic then you can buy it back from the insurers after they have paid you out on it & repair it yourself. It will always be on the insurance register as CAT recorded vehicle but at least you wont see your pride and joy get sold off for parts or scrap at a salvage auction because of a small dent in the front wing!
  3. As with any car insurance question, the only real way to find out what's the best price for YOU with YOUR car and YOUR circumstances is to search out a few insurance companies and get on the phone. FWIW, I insure my classic with Performance Direct, for about £120 including legal cover.
  4. I would say adrian flux..if not try lancaster. You can have an agreed valuation with them if the vehicle is written off, which even though hopefully will never happen It is very easy to write off a classic car
  5. try getting quoted at http://simplyinsurancequotes.com/uk/eGroupmotoring-insurance-quotes.php?id=8893 they might beat whatever quote, classic or not.
