How much would my car insurance be?
I'm 18 and I'm in college.Soon I'll be getting my license and a used 1990s sedan. My car will likely be financed and in the $1000-$2500 range. I cant seem to get free insurance quote online. Can someone tell me a rough estimate?

- it totally depends upon u
- Well first you cant finance a car for a 1000 or 2500 unless you have most likely a large down payment meaning the car costs like 8 k and you are putting down 6500 ... Unless you go to a dealership that is a Buy here pay here ... But you dont pay they take it away ... the insurance thing 1990 sedan ... thats not to much to go on ... Depending on state population and other bs .,, Its hard to say ... Probally in the area of 800 being the low to 2000 dollars .. Depends where you live .... My first car cost 500 ... I build custom cars so I really dont worry about driving expensive things that i cant afford ...But dont go get a 20k honda not worth it ... And just cause it says Bmw doesnt meant there isnt a high cost .... If you are looking for a reliable 1990's erra car to drive Get a toyota they arent terribly expensive to fix.. Good luck to yo u
- The value of the car doesn't effect things much. Since you've had your license for less than 5 yrs or so, the liability is expensive. Maybe around $1000? Skip the collision coverage.
- Any car that you finance will set you back big insurance money because you will be required to buy comprehensive insurance for it. The smart way would be to save up a couple of grand and pay cash for it, then you will be able to get liability only for it and that's about half price or less. Btw, there are hundreds of comparison sites where you can get free quotes from, here's just two that I know of: http://www.autoinsuranceproviders.esuperfind.com?id=9984 http://get-smart-about-motorcars.moneysavecenter.com/car-insurance.php?id=9984
