In what states is it legal to drive with fog lights?

Can anyone direct me to a website that will let me know where I'm more likely to get pulled over? I bought my car used with after market headlights. I'm not able to adjust these so, for four years (in the state of Texas) I've also used my fog lights for extra light with no trouble. I know some are horribly bright but mine are not... I'm not one of "those guys". Now, I need to travel through several states and I don't want to get pulled over for something silly. Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure if they are illegal anywhere. Why not fix your headlights.
Although I thought there was one site with state by state information regarding laws like that - - i wasn't able to find it at this time - - so - because you didn't mention which states you will be traveling through, the only thing I can suggest is - doing what i did: type: state fog light law into a search (I typically use MSN) and your results will bring up a list by state - what their regulations are - and then you can look for the states you'll be traveling through good luck and happy travels!
in Illinois you have to turn them off in town but on highways you can run them
