who will insure a london taxi black cab as a private car, for private use

i want to buy a manial london taxi, i found a few both on ebay and in other places. tried all the insurance companies i can think of, and i tried the compareing sites, direct line norwich union tesco the coop noone has it listed only some affilliate of the AA had it listed because they do taxi insurance, then said they could do private car insurance on it but it would be well over 2 grand any advise joe
