Where to apply for car loan , less rate where co signer not required? As i am on work pemit which valid Jan 08

i am here in usa on work permit which started from April 06 and valid till Jan 2008. I am planning to buy a used certified car for $15000. I applied for loan at delaer but delaer is saying that he need a co signer for that loan as my work permit expires by Jan 2008 (he is offering 8.9% rate) and other option is a rate of 15% and no cosigner is required. Can any one tell me where I can apply for a good deal? I read about capital one finanace? Is it worth to apply there?

2. I dont have the best of credit, well in fact its kinda bad, but I was able to get car loan since I do have a job which is mainly what this place cared most about for me.
