How do I sell a car with a lien on it?

I owe 5k on the car, selling for 9k, I am a private seller selling to a private buyer who is paying 9k straight up. Finance company is Honda Finance. How do I sell to private buyer. Thanks.

1. You pay off the lien, otherwise it will be repossessed
2. You have to pay off Honda finance before they will release the lein. Call them and ask if there is a place you can go with the buyer to do this.
3. all you have to do is pay the 5k out of the 9k it will take about two weeks for the title the finance com could care less where the money come from as long as thy get their money
