Do you think this a good car insurance quote?
I am in the UK and have driven for 3 years. I have always paid around £700-£750 a year for car insurance but after making a claim last year I lost all my 2 years no claims bonus, the new quote for this year went up to £1154, so I shopped around and have now found a quote for £680 which is the cheapest that I will have ever paid so far. Is this possible? It sounds too good to be true or does shopping about really have its benefits afterall. This will be the same fully comp insurance with identical options to what I had before. Does this sound normal to you?

- Use Google or Yahoo and enter "complaints (name of company" without the quotes or brackets and see what comes up. Customer comments should tell you a lot about the company.
- You really need to move Lynzeigh....Mine is £280 less and its a 2001 Passat estate..Insurance seems to be cheaper further away from the smoke
- Well, if you aren't used to shop around then I understand that it can seem too good to be true, but in actual fact you can shop around and save money anywhere. For instance here you will get a no claim bonus after 8 months, (not after a year) and I bet they'll charge less than £680 http://www.simplyinsurancequotes.com/ukmotoring-insurance-quotes.php also, don't forget to get a quote from the Post Office while in there, you never know!
