is now a good time to buy a used are new car cheap or get a good deal ?

i have been looking at 2000 models, because i dont want to go into dept to much, and it looks like they are selling for 3000 to 4000 dollars, and more, most of them have over 100 thousand miles, but i wouldint want one with more than 130 thousand miles on it, i no what blue book says, are these prices low allready ? are can i get them to come down in price even more ? i was wondering this because of the economy the way it is.

1. you can always talk somebody down on the price. just talk them down as much as you can. when you go to buy the car, always point out the flaws in the car to increase your chance of talking them down.
2. Now is deff the time to get a car. with the economy so bad, people have no choice to sell their cars lower then they want. if you go to a dealer, they will usually drop the price a little bit if you plan on buying it, but they wont go to low. If you go to a private seller "with cash in hand", you can usually negotiate with them and they could lower the price to a more reasonable offer. most people put their car out for sale for higher then its worth because they know someone will negotiate with them. if you wanna buy a car, now's the time to do it.
