How do I do a car boot sale?

I live in Glasgow and I need to do a car boot sale to boost funds for a group I`m in. Do I just take my goods, go to a boot sale, pay entry and just set it up? Or, do I have to phone prior tp turning up first? Please help!

1. Most are turn up on the day - get there early to a) get a good pitch and b) be ready for all the hawkers (trade people). Have a good idea beforehand what you want to charge for your items. Be ready to slash prices later in the day. Some you may have to book, they normally say in the advertising beforehand.
2. Pay a visit to the place and ask a regular seller, how it works they all vary , most you should not need to book just turn up
3. you have the answer. just take all your goods and a table to put them on eg a pasting table, and pay when the collector comes to you for the rent. hope you are successful with your selling
