car insurance and new car discounts for a student?

i am in my first yr at a commuinty college and in the fall semester i had a 4.0 and its only halfway through my spring semester so i dont know my gpa, but anyways. i am thinking about getting a new car so can i get a discount for being a good student? either focus or accent mayeb? and i want to get ym own insruance too- whats the best company for my age group(19 female) and and do they offer student discounts too? btw ive never had insurance myself, thanks!!

2. Good student discounts depend on the company, so you'll have to ask an agent/company about them. Your best bet would be to insure under your parents' policy, as you may get a multi-car discount and have the clout of their insurance with the company.
