When buying a brand new car (Australia) how much of a discount can i ask for?

I'm thinking of getting a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander and the ticket price is 32,000k how much can I expect to bargain the dealer down? And then put my 2001 falcon futura in for trade in? Anyone care to share their industry secrets or experience? Australia...

1. I dont think you can barter with a dealership for a brand new vehicle to be honest, but you can definitely work something out if you have a trade-in. You wont get much for your trade in though, trust me, you would be better off selling your vehicle privately, then using the money you made off that towards your new Mitsubishi. Good luck
