  1. I want to know about its reliability and fuel economy. The cost of parts and the safety rating it has
  2. I'd want to know the cars weaknesses, or how many repairs on average are needed in the first 1-5 years of ownership. For example some cars are notorious for transmission problems. I'd also want to know mpg and any special bells or whistles the car comes with standard. Things such as OnStar, oscillating vents, blinkers in the mirrors, ect. Also how does the car do in the snow and rain?
  3. I think something that alot of review sites lack, is the ability to accuratly determine a car's reliability. I mean, it's a new car. how do we know the reliability? We don't. At best, the tester can venture a guess based on what they think of the brand and the feel of the car, but lets be honnest, every car feels good when it's new. I would say perhaps you could tap into the used car market and review cars that are 5 years old? you would be able to list the problems, people could write with known issues. From there you could draw parallels to any new brands. Likewise, when you test new cars you could test one again in 5 years, and perhaps again at 7 or 10 when repairs start to become an issue. Perhaps have members to log or report on their cars at yearly intervals? Just some ideas, the only way to get a true idea of how cars hold up is to test over time. This information would give good evidence to where the specific car might stand for the new brands. and it would also be useful for those in the used car market (which is HUGE! but doesn't really have a review site...hmm...) Just think how many people on Yahoo answers alone ask "is this a good first car" or "should i get this car" almost always, they are used.
