change from 14" to 16" Alloy wheels for my car!!!!!?
I'm a fan of street modified cars and i sport a ford fiesta Zxi, i've already added alot of gizmo-gadgets to it like GPS, TFT, DVD surround, underbody neon etc . Its on the wheels i want to attack next, the car has moderate looks, but the wheels define it all just like we have shoes. The fiesta's wheels are like baby shoes and it gives way the rest of it. now here's my question, can i fit 16" alloy wheels with low profile tyres to my car without major modifications? also if i need to go in for new better suspensions, which ones should i go for, i am aware that i might have to change the drums with different pcd, can anyone be specific? thanks

- What you want to do is called "One Plussing". Taking the original 14" wheels and one plussing to a 15" wheel then one plussing again to 16" wheels. You can go to www.tirerack.com site and go to the "the upgrade garage". Enter in your original 14" tire size then click on 16" tires. It will give you the correct 16" size tire. Lets say that your 14" tire is sized 185/70/14. One plussing it to 15" tires would be 195/65/15. One plussing to 16" tires would be 205/55/16 and etc. Regardless of what size these listed tires are, they are all the same outside diameter. Being the same outside diameter will not mess up your speedometer of suspension. Best of luck.
