Why would someone buy a brand new car and not use it?

My next door neighbour has bought a really expensive brand new car and from what I've seen of them using it, I think it's only on their front drive for show! they have a really old ford fiesta that they use for basically everything and since they bought this car it's hardly been used, seems a shame that it's just sitting there rusting away, why would someone buy a car and not use it? xxxx

4. People try and patronize other people with their material things that they buy. It is really quite selfish and shallow, if you ask me.

6. I had a friend some years ago who bought a brand new car which then sat in the garage for years. His excuse was that it would keep its value if it had little mileage on it. However, in reality, the engine seized through lack of use and the tyres more or less rotted and in the end it was pretty much worthless. Some people do have funny ideas.
7. I bet it's there as a status symbol and they can't really afford to pay for the petrol for two cars!
8. is is a sl 65 black series. if it is i wouldn't blame them for not driving it. the moment you put your foot on the gas the rear wheels are going to spin.
9. rich people but expensive cars , it can be a tax dodge . Basically if they don`t spend their money the tax man gets a whack of it but i am talking mega buck savings .
