1. Most of those shows have been bumped, due to poor ratings, because of how the shows are set up. Many customers from both Overhaulin and Pimp My Ride have been interviewed later, and they said their cars were basically unusable. In Overhaulin's case, they made the cars TOO nice. Who wants to drive a car that has a 10,000$ paint job? The minute you scratch it, it comes out of your wallet. Plus your insurance just went through the roof because it's not longer a junk car, but a show room car. Enjoy the new premiums, lol. For Pimp My Ride...sure, a fish tank in a car sounds like a good idea. Actual practicality? Zero. Cars lowered so much that they can't drive around town where there are speed bumps...etc. Unique Whips? A show about how rich a guy is because he treats his shop workers like dirt, and spends all his time buying pools and other things for his house. It's a show that simply glamorizes excessive spending. Nevermind the false impression they set. It doesn't take a week to overhaul a car. If it's you and a shop, it can take months, even years. And the cost is astronomical. In Overhaulin, they don't even test drive the cars to make sure everything was done properly! What if it gets five feet out the door, and breaks down because it was so hastily put together? It's an interesting concept, but it's such a ridiculous insult to the real car customization world, that it's unbearable to watch.
