How do I sell my car for parts or scrap and get the most out of it?

It's a '95 Ford Explorer. It drives but there's A LOT wrong with it. We need a family vehicle and need a big down payment to even be considered so I need the absolute most I can get out of it.

1. if you take it apart piece by piece and sell the parts on ebay that's the best way to make money but its a lot of work. 95 exploder parts are worthless anyways (no offense) so i would recommend taking it to a scrap yard or trade-in

3. do you have something like a( want- ad paper) in your area? if you do then advertise it for parts.
