- Develop a formal sponsorship package with different levels and the dollar value investment that each entails. Work out what should be included for each level and then pitch your package to potential sponsors. Good luck!
- First you need to figure out how you want the sponsorship to go, do you want sponsors to donate as much as they want / anything they want? Or do you want to create price brackets, $50 / $100 / $200 / etc. If they sponsor you how will you display their name, are you going to make posters? Have their name on the entrance or flyers? I suggest planning out how the car show layout will be, and figure out where you will be able to hang posters for your sponsor company. Figure out all the places where you can help your sponsor advertise, and pitch the ideas to them. How they will benefit from the sponsorship and how much much traffic they will be exposed to, and the potential new client they will be able to obtain. If you need money ask for monetary donation, if you want a specific item from them ask for a donation ( the item could be used in a lucky draw) , or maybe you could ask for gift certificates. Prepare a formal hard copy document of potential advertisement areas, have a visual layout of the car show. Where you will be able to advertise their company at your car show. Create flyers to show them and invite them to the car. The most important thing is to make them realize they can gain new customers. Hope that helps.
