Where can i buy custom engines?

i'm fixing up an oldish RX7 and i'm looking for a Flat-6 or a flat-8 but i cant find one and i want a new one... do your guys know where i can get a custom engine like they get on overhaulin' or pimp my ride, also do you know where i can get other parts like axels or other upgrades for the engine and car? oh transmition 2

1. pretty sure no one makes a flat-8, and the motors on Overhaulin' and Pimp my ride aren't "custom" motors, they're crate motors with a dress-up kit on them. I would find a local racing engine shop, they could build pretty much whatever you want.
2. first of all they did make flat v-8's. thats what came in several of the early model ford cars and trucks. they were flat headed engines. but if you want a sick engine for that rx7 try NELSON RACING ENGINES. they make killer engines.
