Husband KNOWS I need the car to take kids to Dr. appointments, yet he's out there taking it apart?
He has the front fenders, hood and windshield out (it's a classic car in process of restoration) and he expects me to drive it around with the ENTIRE FRONT END missing. God I'm so f*cking disgusted with him right now I could SCREAM!! and he doesn't understand what my problem is. He wouldn't drive a disassembled car so wtf should I??? It's not my fault my standards are higher than his. @ Janet- it IS my car so why don't YOU stop acting like a presumptuous know-it all? @ what are you: it's my name on the title and registration- so try LEARNING about the situation before you make snippy little comments.

- As long as it's still driveable, what's the issue? Are you too high maintenance to drive a car that isn't perfect? If it's YOUR car, why aren't you the one working on it? You can't have it both ways, darlin... Grow up.
- lol its a guy thing best thing to do is get his wallet and call a cab. That will break him lol
- Get his wallet and call a cab.
- go smash him in the face with a spanner and make him put it back together =D
- slap some sense into him. GIRL POWER!!!
- In a guys mind....it's still running so its ok to drive around. You should go and buy a standard, non expensive vehicle, w/ low miles in addition to the classic car. That way you will have a car ready whenever you need it.
- so call a cab, family member or friend to take you to the Dr. what he is doing isn't right but just chill out and find another way...
- Just talk to him! Say I need it I promise ill get it back as soon as the Dentist is done! When their appionments are over ill leave right away!! Or just say why dont you come with!!
- Why don't you get your own car and stop acting like a spoiled little tantrum throwing child.
- such language from a MOM! ROFL
- If your kids needs to go to a Dr.s appointment take a cab if it's that important to you. When you get back then deal with the husband!
- thats just a mn for you honey...you better step up and do something
- yup go tell him he is a ass and to put the car back together.
- Sounds like you need to leave this car for him to dink around with, and get yourself another car.
- LOL well at least he is fixing it up . Call a cab or get a friend to take you because all the squabbling in the world isn't going to help your situation out a bit . If some of you woman would take it upon yourselves to get a car clothing what ever your needs may be you wouldn't have that problem . Your just as at fault as he is your an adult just like he is . Oh Ok it is your car i see .Its your house its your kids its yours all of it . I see how you are . Edit: Yes like a said i see how you are
- What standards?...that you look like royalty while driving the kids to a doctor's appointment. I hope this is you just venting, because I feel sorry for the poor b*stard if this is what he has to put up with on a daily basis.
- Sweetheart, About 99.9% of the time...men are not doing things to deliberately make you women-folk angry. Perhaps he showed poor judgment. Perhaps he got really excited about finally getting around to this project. But to turn this into some kind of personal attack situation is just silly. Your husband loves you. Why don't you return that love? He made a mistake...granted! In an attempt to improve your car and make it something you both could be proud of (and to prove his Manliness to you), he botched the schedule. But now you've backed him into a corner by getting angry with him. You've decided to make it a personal vendetta rather than a transportation issue. Now he's either emasculated or he's going to get vicious about it. I think you need to understand how men work. Most of the time, we just don't think about it. But I've got 20 bucks that says you won't drop this very small, totally irrelevant incident for the next five years. Now why don't you give him a hug, tell him how much you appreciate his hard work on YOUR car, and mention that he looks sexy lifting all those car parts around. Then ask him nicely if he's got any ideas how you can safely transport the kids to their appointments. And tell him you'd rather not risk a vehicle that didn't have bumpers or a windshield. Just learn to be NICE. Good Luck!
- I cannot believe you let him at your goat. As much as I hate to say it, maybe you should light him up and have him assemble it and go look for another apartment.
