How do I pimp my ride?

I just found out both shows i watch that fix up cars (Overhaulin' and Pimp My Ride) are both cancelled and my mom has had this old Cadillac DeVille from the 70's that is very nice but its really beat up and and has problems starting and every morning needs water put in the cooling system.........so please tell me what can i do to pimp my moms ride.

1. trade it in for a '79 Vega. There is no answer. There is no holy grail. The only thing worse is if it were a station wagon.
2. Straight pipe the car. It will be so fly. Pimps will want it.
