the t.v. show "overhaulin' "?

On the t.v. show overhaulin' they pretend to steal peoples cars and stuff. but what area's do they steal the cars from they cant all be in the california area. well i guess what i'm asking is do they do out of state over hauls... perhaps Dallas, Tx? lol
