What is the best car to modify?

Guys and gals, I want blow off valves and turbo, supercharger, whatevers. I am in the stage where I am looking for a car and I am drawing a blank. Help me out folks! HEY: It has to be a car that is under 20k. The cheaper the better.

1. Well, I believe the best car to modify is the Miata. You can get them for a dime a dozen, and the aftermarket support is incredible. You can put a lot of boost into the engines and they will stay rock solid for a long while. The are rear wheel drive, and handle like no other. They are one of the best affordable sports cars on the road, and 94-04 models are so cheap that plenty of money will be left for modifications. Othe cars that are good as well include mustangs, rx-7's, old muscle cars, rx-8's. try to stay away from fron t wheel drive cars, because once enough power is put to the engine, traction goes to crap.
2. i would say an acura integra. you can even get evos or sti for under 20k. or if luxury and sporty i would say a g35 or an older model m3
3. the car has to be under 20 k??? there's a lot of cars for you then toyota mr2 nissan 240sx mazda rx-7 toyota supra nissan skyline toyota corolla AE86
4. Next to last generation Toyota Supra Turbo, manual transmission. These can be had for a few thousand, and the rest of the budget can be spent on modifications. You can get close to 1000 hp out of these engines on your budget. You will want to do a total engine rebuild with premium parts. The last generation Supra Turbos are going for $50K and up.
