Sale tax for private party car sale?

I am planning to sell my honda civic EX in Washington. Is there sales tax for the vehicle? I heard that stimulus plan has removed sales tax on new vehicles. What about used vehicles?

1. here on earth , not where you are taxes for sales are paid to the department of motor vehicles.so if you buy a spaceship for "said" amount when you pay for registering it you get the tax to pay as well.this applies to private sales not dealers
2. That stimulus sales tax credit is only for new cars. Since you are selling the car, you don't collect any sales tax anyway, that's the responsibility of the buyer. Good luck and I hope this helps to clarify.
