link to laws on used car sale, private sales?

I sold my car and now the buyer is tryign to scam me. I need to research waht his resposnibilites as a buyer in the state of Texas are, and what are mine as the seller. There was no contract. I am simply researching before I go to my attorney. Thanks for any help.

1. you sold the car as is if he dont know wat to look for the smart thing he should have done was to take somebody that knows about cars to tell him to buy it or not dont let him waste your time if he didnt ask you any questions then its all on him
