Name of tv programme with a classic car that comes to life?

I live in the UK, and grew up in the 90s watching television. There was a programme about a small classic car which would come to life and drive itself around. I also recall it's headlights being emphasised as eyes, so it would move them around etc. It was a very small car, and it was kept in a yard of other cars, which it used to escape from to have 'adventures'. I have a feeling the seats inside were red, if that jogs your memory.

6. If you mean the children's shows it was called Brum, if you mean the more grown up films therte were more modern remakes of the classic film Herbie, like Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo etc. It depends on your meaning of small. Brom was a model car but Herbie wsafull sized Volkswagen Beetle.
