where/who do i call to find out about gov car auctions?

Hi im planning on getting a car by winning one at a gov. car auction i was just wondering who do i call to find out where these auctions are? Is it worth just paying like 30$ for one of those online sites that'll look for you?

  1. Don't spend money for listings of government surplus. Just google the Defense Re utilization and Marketing Service . The US government has contracted a private company to conduct it's sales, but the information is FREE. Please be aware of the rules of the auction you are interested in. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!!
  2. Here, http://www.usa.gov/shopping/shopping.shtml You owe me $30 ! LOL
  3. You can try looking in the newspaper. Those online sites are also good at telling about auctions in your city. http://www.mycarauctionreview.com has reviews on a couple of good ones.
