How do i find police auction to buy car in alabama or georgia?

I am looking for a police auction to buy car i heard you can get good deal. but i have no idea how to find one

1. If you are talking about vehicles seized from drug dealers, you can forget about it. The best vehicles go into service with the undercover cops. The ones that the cops don't want to use are usually traded to local car lots or they are auctioned with surplus properties. If you start looking a the web sites for cities in you area you will probably find an auction site that handles sales of surplus property. Don't expect any bargains.
2. Contact police stations in Alabama or Georgia, and ask about when they have their surplus public auctions. Ask to be added to the mailing list so you can be notified. Of course, use the non emergency number when you call.
3. Jefferson county sheriffs dept ONLY sells theirs via EBAY. Im set up to where ebay sends me reminders whenever they have stuff for sale. Ive never seen any real good deals. But, I used to be a wholesaler and had access to wholesale auctions on a regular basis.
4. Try calling the police department or looking in the newspaper.
