Is there a way to sell cars on ebay or from my house without having to pay taxes when I buy the car?

I want to be able to go to an auction, buy cars and either sell them online or locally. The thing I want to avoid is having to get a license (it's a fortune) and I don't want to have to pay sales tax on the cars I buy at the auction. Is there a way to do this?

1. Yeah, I would like to buy cars without paying sales tax, too. It won't happen, though. Different states have different requirements, but if you are going to privately sell more than 3-5 cars a year in most states, you are considered a dealer and will have to get a license.
