What is the least expensive new car on the market in 2009?

It's all so overwhelming trying to pick out a new car. I'm just wondering what the cheapest new car they're currently designing is. Can you find new cars for under $10,000? Thanks!

1. Yes there is a car that is cheaper than $10,000...in fact there are plenty, but just one is the cheapest production car, it is the TATA NANO, google it, it is sold for just $2,000, it is a funny little car made in India!!!

4. Depending on what sort of deals your local dealerships are offering, I've seen (starting at around 9995) Hyundai Accent Kia Rio Pontiac Wave Chevy Aveo But those are /base/ models. As in, no A/C and standard. Plus, you have to add freight (usually about 1500ish where I am) and taxes, so it works out to like 13k or 14k.
