Overhaulin'

How much should I advertise a car that i have for sale?

The car is a 2002 ford focus se model. It has 83000 miles on the engine and the exterior is in pretty good shape.....no major scratches or dents. The interior is close to spotless and all it really needs is a good car wash. The title is a rebuilt which I assume lowers the value of the car. I got it as a gift from a cousin of mine. She recently purchased a new car and didn't have any use for the ford focus. Does any have a value book that can possibly give me an idea to how much I could sell it for.

  1. Go to kbb.com thats kelly blue book and there you can find trade value, private seller value or blackbook and find wholesell value. I would roughly say 4500-5900
  2. Yes, go to www.kbb.com and www.nadaguides.com. I would also suggest getting a Carfax report on it to see if they know it is rebuilt (your buyer is most likely to get a Carfax report, so it is best you know beforehand).
