Question about car body kits?

I have a question regarding fitting body kits on cars; If living in the UK, would I need to inform the DVLA if I was to modify a car by fitting a front and rear bumper kit, and possibly a spoiler? Keeping the colour the same, of course.

1. no you would not. Why would you want to put a body kit on your car. Most body kits on cars look VERY ugly and people will mostly likey laught at your car. Body Kits = RICER
2. You don't need to inform the dvla but you do need to inform your insurance company, if you don't and something happens your insurance will be invalid.

4. No not DVLA but talk to your insurance company before you fit it. They may want to load your policy.
