what can i add to my car to make it faster and sound better?
i recently got a 1997 Chevy Cavalier for my 17 birthday its a great car looks nice and runs very well. i really want to fix it up kinda like a racing car but not for racing just because i think it looks cool. i would like to modify the engine and add other cool parts such as lights, muffler, body kit, etc. i just have no idea what im doing and a some help from someone would be greatly appreciated! thanks.

- to make it faster, you could add a cold air intake, aftermarket headers, aftermarket exhaust system(flowmaster catback exhaust), and a new computer chip. This can all be found on ebay for a cheap price.
- remove cat converter and mufflers and it will go faster and sound better........cops may object however....
- install cold air intake and put a flowmaster exhaust systems
- A turbo will make it scream nicely.
- so basically you want to be pulled over by the cops every time you drive the car, at 17 you are a target, modify the engine etc but keep low key or you will spend more time by the side of the road than on it
- set fire to it and use the insurance money to buy something that isn't an american made econobox. Nothing you can do to it will ever make it cool, nor will you make it faster without spending way too much time and money on it. If you put lights, rims, bodykits, and a muffler on it, you will have a '97 cavalier with lights, rims, a bodykit and a fartcan. It will look ridiculous, people will make fun of you and you will have wasted your money.
