Overhaulin'

help with my first car?

So i got a Ford Mustang 2005 and it has a little under 80,000 miles (too many, i know). I want to fix my car and make it like new OverHaulin' style over a period of 3-4 years. At first i was thinking of starting with the engine and everything else under the hood, however i know nothing about mechanics. I've decided to start with the interior, its a little beat up and really needs work. i want to install a new dashboard, steering wheel, overall have a new interior. I don't know if that's even possible, is it? is there a website where i can check all this out? I've already found a few sites with things that I'm not quite looking for. Any advice or just ANYTHING i need to know? hmm, is it possible to send my car over to Chip Foose?

  1. that is a lot of f***ing work and it is really costly so if you have the money go ahead, think about it. is it really worth it to you to put thousands of dollars into it. why dont you clean it up, scrub it down, put some seat covers in it.
  2. remove the interior an get it wrapped in leather at an upholstery shop. reinstall and you got a "new" interior.
  3. you know what your best bet is ? your better off to write down what you need then go to someplace like a ( you pull it ) junk yard, take off what you need, come back home and start replacing. it will be the cheapest way to go.
