im going to be buying a 2008 hyundai coupe sii which has 16 inch wheels. I want to put 18's on, can i?
I love my fox 18 inch alloys i currently have on my ford focus. Can I fit these on my hyundai coupe without effecting its performance or modifying the car to much?

- don't think so, if it was made and tested with 16 then im guessing 16 should be the way to go btw i see you are going to buy, to be honest hyundais aren't the greatest or most realiable cars in the world
- Your Focus wheels/studs are on a pitch circle diameter of 108mm if 5 stud. The 5 stud Hyundai wheels are on a PCD of 114 mm. This means the mounting holes will not line up and it will be physically impossibe to fit the Focus wheels to a Hyundai Coupe. There is no way to modify them or an adaptor to buy to sort that out - just cannot be done. You can buy and fit 18 inchers but if i were you i would not rush ito it as you will find the Coupe suspension very hard and fitting the 40 section even lower profile tyres that will be needed on 18 inchers will make it even harder overall - try it first for a while.
- Sorry - Ford Focus wheels will not fit the Hyundai - the bolts holes will not line up!
- In technical terms yes you can fit an 18" wheel, but not your wheels unfortunately. As the other guy said your bolt patterns do not match up. Maybe you can find someone to trade or buy your rims, then buy new ones that fit your car. As to what the other guy said Hyundai's quality is actually quite good, they have come a long way in the last twenty years, their quality is now one of the highest. In the 2008 JD Power survey Hyundai was 4th I believe in overall brand quality. I'm looking to replace one of my cars next year and I'm looking at a 2010 Genesis coupe.
- if you have 4 wheel nuts on your new car then yes they will work
- u can with some adjustments!
