How should I adjust the Kelly Blue Book recommended price to the specific situation with the sale of my car?

I have a 2002 Saturn that by the Kelly Blue Book should go for 3,050 in a private sale in "good" condition and 1,495 as a trade in. I am trying to sell it privately. The meaning of good indicates that no body damages other than small dents and scratches which is true with my car except that the curb guard under the front body of the car is off. Though, the car has the check engine light on, the garage indicates that it is a pin hole leak in the fuel sensors. Something that will not require work right now but maybe more than a year from now and it does not effect the way it runs as it runs well. The front seat does not adjust and the air conditioner either needs a charge or the full compressor. The inside of the car is undamaged and shows normal wear except for a ink stain on a portion of the back seat. Does each of these issues listed bring the condition of the car down to "poor" or how much do I take as a discount on the Blue Book price indicated?

  1. You have an eight year old Saturn with a check engine light on and you're concerned about an ink stain on the back seat? Ge the car fixed or sell it "as is" to whomever will pay money for it.
