What is a better car to modify other then a 2008 nissan gtr?

Is a 2002 better or any other cars or mercedes.

1. There would be no 2002 GTR, as the GTR was only available in 2007 (JDM) and 2008 (USA). If we're talking about a 2002 Nissan skyline GTR34, then that would make sense. IMO, if you can afford an 08 GTR then you can afford to modify it, but either way.... both the R35 and the R34 are an expensive starting point and expensive to modify, but they both perform very well!
2. +1 for everything the previous answerer said. Really, if you can afford this car, why bother with mods?
3. Just depends on what type of driving your trying to do. Road Racing, Drag Racing or Street Driving. Foreign cars are more difficult to build up. Ford and Chevy Mustang and Camaro Pontiac GTO all have major parts suppliers with big block crate motors fuel systems exhaust and headers already to go. You can go drag racing much faster with a 1960's Chevelle and a 507 cubic inch big block and turbohydromatic transmission than you can with a 1989 GT-R with a 150 cubic inch turbo charged motor. But road racing at a track the GT-R will carve the turns and outrun almost any American Iron. German cars start expensive and those aftermarket tunners like AMG can get real HP for even more money.
