Does anyone know where I can get insurance for a classic car without having insurance on a daily driver?

I have a classic car that i want to insure as an antique car. However, no one will insure it without me having preexisting insurance on a daily driver. I don't own any other cars. They want 4000.00 for 6 months if i register it as a daily driver. I can't afford that.

  1. I guess they're assuming that you're driving the classic on a daily basis; unless you take the bus, that's the only way you could be doing it. You can't have the insurance both ways.
  2. Shopping online for car insurance quotes is the best option for finding the greatest savings. There are multiple car insurance companies in your state, and it is a good idea to get a quote from each of them to find out which is the cheapest and to evaluate the best deal. You can save a lot of money just by simply getting a free quote check them out i saved about $50 dlls a month and you get unlimited quotes for free http://www.getcarinsurance.us
  3. autoinsurance.bebto.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.
