2. Buying a well modified car also means buying a car somebody else has trashed until they decide to buy something else. My suggestion is look for a relatively stock car in good condition and start modifying it yourself the way you want too. That way you also get the fun of working on your car and looking through catalogs for parts. If money is no object but time is, car lots tend to specialize in high performance and custom cars. Keep your eyes open for such places.
