Can you use leftover Federal Student Loan money to buy a car?

If it's necessary to have a vehicle to get to school and back, can you use Stafford Loan money for a used car?

1. Yes you can use your money on anything you need. I get my money back and use it for all sorts of things like my bills and groceries and gas money. Anything that you would spend it on can somehow be traced back to "school related." I always get back plenty and that's how I am able to pay my bills! Good luck finding a car!
