How i can know used car, which i want to buy ,is not crashed car?

Dear friend, I am going to buy used car.But I do not have any experiences about buying used cars.I am planning to buy OPEL ASTRA ,OPEL VECTRA or VW GOLF 1996-1999s.But main thing for me is know that this car is non crashed car. So How i can know used car, which i want to buy ,is not crashed car? If you know more advices about buying used cars,please,write me.

1. Ask for the "CarFax" report.
2. take it to a body shop and have them check it out

Look for signs of damage, like see if the lights are the same, if everything matches and looks original, some people might want to cover up damage, so look for signs of excess sprayed paint and stuff. You could look at the cars history, to see if there has been any problems with it. If the car has really really low mileage, it could be fake, they could of changed it. Buy Vw golf, more stronger and reliable. Opel/Vaxuhall/Saturn are cheap cars,
4. Most cars that are 11-14 years old have probably been in at least one crash.
