  1. Generally, towards the end of the year (november/december timeframe) is when you will find the best prices and the most willing bargains. Reason being is because the next year models are already out, and the dealers want to get rid of the current year model vehicles. They will usually run sales and you can generally bargain the price down considerably. Now really isn't the best time, as prices are relatively high for the year that is selling, and the dealerships aren't in too much of a crunch to clear the lot.
  2. It's a good time. Most carmakers have good incentives now, some VERY good. Here's a list: http://www.leaseguide.com/Articles/car-rebates.htm However, in order to "qualify" for these incentives you must have a good credit score, sufficient income, and no excessive debts.
  3. now is a great time , what with the economy in the toilet and all that , you should be able to negotiate a smokin' deal on an '08 .
  4. The time is indeed right to buy a new car... The dealers are mostly hard-up for business in this current economic climate it is difficult for them to find good clients who are willing to part with their cash. go for it but remember to negotiate.
