Should I buy my car before the lease expires or wait till due date?
I've been leasing a Dodge Caliber for 3 years. In January 2011 my lease will be expired and I was planning on purchasing the car then. I've received some unexpected money and was wondering if it would be a good move to buy it now before leasing ends. Thanks, Your thoughts?

- if i am any judge the car has depreciated faster than the lease/in other words you are already upside down in the car/the payout will be several hundred dollars more than the car is worth no matter when you want to pay it off/dont/buy something new if possibile or offer them the true value of the car not the balance/dont forget you paid list price for that car
- Depends on how much your lease costs and how much interest the unexpected money could make if safely deposited in the bank. (not invested at a casino). Figure it out both ways.
- no get a brand new car with all the deals and incentives. and just keep the lease and then get rid of that one. when you have two cars, insurance is actually cheaper. why. I had 2 cars.
- Wait til jan 2011. You are going to change your mind
- Why lease a car when it is better to buy it.... I bought all of my cars and do what I want to the ride
