What should I do get a car with car note&stay at my mom's? Or get a cash car&move out?

Ok I stay at my mom's with my two kids and been looking for a car. If I buy a cash car I could afford to move out and pay rent. If I get a car with a car note I won't be able to. Staying here is ok,but my mom treats me like a kid and I am 27. What should I do? Please help me...

1. Move out! Get a cash car. You can work build enough money for a better one. Get a used Subaru, an Outback would be great for the kids.
2. buy a used car, stay with Mom save up a lot of money b4 you move out paying rent, utilities and all that is so expensive it's unreal especially if Mom does any cooking, babysitting, laundry etc you don't realize how much that stuff costs if your paying cash for it
